What is Sculptra?
Sculptra is a unique injectable dermal filler made with poly-L-lactic acid. Poly-L-lactic acid, when injected into the skin, causes the generation of healthy new collagen and has been in use in the form of medical sutures for many years. Sculptra can be used to fill in areas of hollowness or aging signs to provide youthful volume. Over time, it prompts the body to create new collagen to take its place, providing longer-term correction of aging signs than hyaluronic acid dermal fillers.

What to Expect During Sculptra Treatment
Sculptra treatments take as little as 15 minutes. You’ll begin treatment by discussing your cosmetic goals with our experienced injectors and carefully developing an appropriate treatment plan. Then, the treatment area will be prepared and cleansed. Sculptra is placed in the skin using a very fine needle and discomfort is easily manageable. A topical numbing cream can be supplied if needed. Sculptra produces instant results and you can assess your desired look before leaving.
Sculptra Results and Recovery
Some minor redness and swelling can be expected after Sculptra. Although there is no downtime required, it’s recommended to avoid exercising or elevating your heart rate. Make sure to also avoid hot
environments like hot tubs as well as anti-inflammatory medications like ibuprofen or aspirin. Our team will provide instructions on massaging the area daily as well as applying ice packs to manage swelling. Sculptra produces instant results but it can take up to six weeks for the body to begin producing collagen. Sculptra results can last for up to two years as the product fades and collagen takes its place.
