What is Dysport?
Dysport is an injectable wrinkle relaxing treatment. It uses a specialized form of botulinumtoxin type A to block muscle movements in specific areas of the face that are prone to forming dynamic wrinkles, or wrinkles caused by movement. By blocking muscle movements and relaxing tension, Dysport can reduce the appearance of wrinkles around the eyes and brow.

What to Expect During Dysport Treatment
Dysport treatment can be completed within 15 minutes. To begin, you’ll meet with our team of experienced injectors to discuss your aesthetic goals and carefully develop an appropriate Dysport treatment plan. Once you’re ready, your treatment area will be cleansed to prepare it for the injections. Dysport is placed in the facial muscles using a very fine needle and most patients do not experience pain. However, our team can supply a topical numbing cream if needed. Once the treatment is complete, you can go about your day as normal.

If you have an immediate concern, you want to find quality care as soon as possible. Our office takes walk-in appointments and will be happy to address your concerns and offer you immediate treatment suggestions and medical care.

Dysport may cause some slight redness and sensitivity at the injection site, but any visible signs of your treatment fade within a few hours. For at least four hours after treatment, avoid bending over or laying down. Also avoid elevating your heart rate or exercising for the first 24 hours. Finally, avoid massaging, rubbing, or touching the area in order to prevent spreading the product to unwanted areas.
Dysport takes 1-2 weeks to fully take effect. If you do not see your desired results at this time, you may return for additional treatment. Dysport can last for 3-4 months depending on a variety of factors. Our team of experienced injectors can help you understand when to return for your next Dysport treatment.
