Biltmore Dermatology – Terre Haute & Vincennes

Appointments & Cancellations

We offer both scheduled and walk-in appointments. Patients are encouraged to schedule ahead for non-urgent visits to ensure provider availability.

If you need to cancel or reschedule, please provide at least 24 hours notice. This allows us to offer your time slot to another patient.

  • Missed general dermatology appointments without 24-hour notice will incur a $50 no-show fee.
  • Missed surgical, laser, or cosmetic appointments will incur a $150 no-show fee.
  • Repeated missed appointments or failure to resolve balances may result in dismissal from the practice.

What to Bring to Your Visit

To help us serve you efficiently, please bring:

  • A valid photo ID
  • Your current insurance card(s)
  • A list of all current medications (including over-the-counter and supplements)
  • A referral, if required by your insurance plan

Insurance & Payment

We accept most major insurance plans. You are responsible for:

  • Copayments, deductibles, and non-covered services at the time of your visit
  • Payment in full for cosmetic services or medical-grade products
  • Providing accurate, up-to-date insurance information

A 4% service charge applies to all credit card payments processed through Square. We also accept cash and checks.

If you do not have insurance or do not bring your card, full payment is required at the time of service.

Billing & Financial Responsibility

We utilize a third-party billing service. Statements are mailed to the address on file that you provided upon registration. For billing questions, please contact:

  • Accounts unpaid after 30 days will incur a $25 monthly service charge or 10% interest, whichever is greater.
  • Accounts over 90 days will be sent to collections.
  • Returned checks will incur a $50 fee .
  • Unpaid balances may affect eligibility to return to the practice.

Prescription Refills

Please request refills during regular office hours.

We make every effort to process requests on the same day, but this is not guaranteed.

  • Call your pharmacy first to check the status before calling the office.
  • Patients must be seen annually to remain eligible for ongoing refills.

Communication & Reminders

>We use an automated phone and text system to send appointment reminders. These reminders are a courtesy only — patients are responsible for keeping track of their appointments.
